How to Distribute Stats in Metin2
Your stat distribution decides how hard your character hits, how much damage it can take and how often it can use skills. This guide explains the four stats according to the official Turkish wiki and the distribution logic players usually follow for each class and branch.
What the four stats do
- STR: attack value. Full effect for warrior and sura, very small for ninja, no extra attack for shaman and lycan.
- VIT: +40 max HP per point plus defence and magic defence; also adds attack value for lycan.
- DEX: evasion; adds strong attack value for ninja and lycan and a small amount for shaman.
- INT: +20 max SP, +2 magic attack and +1 magic defence per point; also adds attack value for shaman.
Stat cap
The wiki's final-level table for the warrior shows VIT, STR and DEX at 90, and a 90 cap per stat is widely known among players. Points per level and when stats are full depend on the server, so we give no fixed level. Some private servers change the cap or start characters with full stats.
Common distributions
- Warrior (both branches): STR and VIT first, then DEX; INT stays low (the wiki table shows INT 16).
- Ninja (blades or bow): DEX is the main stat, VIT second.
- Büyülü Silah sura: STR and VIT. Kara Büyü sura: INT and VIT.
- Shaman (both branches): INT and VIT.
- Lycan: starts with STR 2, VIT 6, DEX 6, INT 2, 840 HP and 240 SP; VIT and DEX are usually prioritised.
PvM vs PvP
Farm-focused builds put more points into the main attack stat and keep VIT just high enough to survive. PvP and guild war builds raise VIT earlier, because surviving a few extra seconds is often worth more than a little extra damage. Early VIT also keeps auto-hunting characters alive on mobile.
Resetting stats
In the official game the Statü Sıfırlama Kağıdı (stat reset item) lets you redistribute points; the wiki lists it at 79 DC in the item shop, and prices may change. Private servers set their own reset methods.
Common mistakes
Ignoring VIT, putting points into STR on a shaman or lycan, forgetting unspent points on a small phone screen and not reading the server's stat rules.
