Metin2 Biologist Quests and Rewards

Biologist quests are one of Metin2's most important quest chains because their rewards, such as movement speed, attack speed, defence and attack value, stay on your character permanently. This guide lists every biologist quest according to the official Turkish wiki.

Where is the biologist?

Biologist Chaegirab stands in each kingdom's first village: Yongan (red), Joan (yellow) and Pyungmoo (blue). From level 30 he offers the "Biologist's Experiment" chain. You collect quest items from monsters, deliver them along with a soul stone and collect the reward via Baek-Go.

Each step also requires a quest-specific soul stone and gives a coloured ebony chest. Deliveries can fail, so you may need more items than listed. Soul stones only drop while the quest is active.

The rewards suit different play styles: movement speed (30 and 70) speeds up farming and travel, which mobile players notice immediately when walking long distances with a joystick; attack speed (40 and 80) helps melee classes; and the defence, attack value and anti-class bonuses give a clear edge in PvP.

Seon-Pyeong (92 and 94)

Level 92 asks for 10 Kem Göz Mücevheri and rewards one of +1,000 max HP, +120 defence or +51 attack value. Level 94 asks for 20 Bilgelik Mücevheri plus a soul stone and rewards one of +1,100 max HP, +140 defence or +60 attack value.

Yohara biologist

At champion levels 1, 10, 20 and 30 you receive +5 SungMa Will, assigned randomly. This content exists only on servers with the Yohara system.

Speeding things up

The Hızlandırıcı (accelerator) shortens quest time, Araştırmacının Özütü greatly raises the chance a delivery is accepted (not for Yohara), and Araştırmacı Parşömeni resets the 92/94 and Yohara quests. The wiki does not list waiting times between deliveries, so we do not quote unverified numbers.

Values on private servers may differ: item counts and timers are often reduced. Pair biologist farming with auto hunt, and browse hard-grind, farm and 1-99 servers.
